I have to admit I had much better luck looking for e-books than journals. I only found a few that I really cared for. I did however learn much more about searching in the databases on Leatherby Library. New things I learned were clicking on the author's name to get more articles from the same author. I also experimented with the options on the left side of the search page. I learned about clicking on the thesaurus and the RSS feed button. I had always wondered what that was for and now I know.
Having trouble narrowing my research topic down. In the article I chose today, it covered some of the steps to opening a new business to include the financial aspect of it. This is something I will dive into regardless of my research topic.
It was very difficult finding the right search words to find an article. Much harder than the e-books. I tried many different variations and found that when I did find one, to zero in on it and use the thesaurus and clicking on the Author's name to find more on the subject. One thing I did not try was to look for a database just for businesses.
